Looking Up

New day greetings, precious saints of faith!!! Today as I turn to Father’s Word, I am moved in gratitude that it is available on our mobile phones these days (got the app?) and the holy book (the Bible) can also be carried along with us in all of life!!! It is God’s love letter to us and Father says this about it:

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,”

2 Timothy 3:16

Oh nothing blesses my heart more than the voice of my Father!!! I need Him always with me as shared live here and He always is with us dear ones of faith!!! Thru faith, we are forever sealed to Him and nothing can snatch us from His love!!! His promise to us is “never will I leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5) As we draw close to Him, He is always there for us and we can approach His throne of grace with confidence to find mercy and grace to help us in our times of need. Now how awesome is He!!! Oh let us not miss out on the greatest gift of all dear ones of faith – time with our beloved Maker who IS love and everything good!!! He created us to enjoy relationship with Him and vice versa forever so let us make priority the priority of seeking Him in life!!!! Blessed are we and will be forever in seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness and then all heavenly things shall be added unto us!!! Proud of ya for seeking Jesus!!! What is His Spirit speaking to you today through His Word??? “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.”
James 1:5

What the Bible Speaks

Just a little discernment pondering today, sweet family!!! Discernment in a Christian context is “perception in the absence of judgment with a view to obtaining spiritual direction and understanding.” Our Father’s Word tells us it is His heart for each of us as His people to be discerning, to think Biblically about all areas of life – it is necessary or indispensable to an uncompromising life!!! YIKES!!! GOTTA WATCH OUT IN THIS OLE WORLD!!! His Word says it this way:

“But examine everything carefully, hold fast to that which is good, abstain from every form of evil.” 

1 Thessalonians 5:21-22

The Apostle John wrote to the saints in his day:

“Do not believe every Spirit, but test the Spirits to see whether they are from God because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

1 John 4:1

Oh these thoughts make it pretty clear that our Father’s heart is for His people to exercise discernment in all areas of our lives because He loves us and desires our best life!!! In that heart of His for us, our Father has not left us as orphans alone to figure life out on our own, but rather “God has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who calls us by His own glory and excellence.”

2 Peter 1:3

It is “thru the true knowledge of Jesus” that we have been given everything we need to live the Christian life in a fallen world. He has granted to us “His precious and magnificent promises.” 2 Peter 1:4

Upon faith, our Father has also given us His Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us – to be our Counselor in life!!! As we pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide us as we read our Bibles, He shows us how to live. God’s Holy Spirit that lives in us speaks to our spirit (mind) (John 14:26). His voice is a quiet voice that comes from within us to teach us and remind us of all Jesus has said. Now how awesome to have a built-in Godly counselor always with us!!! That could and does come in handy for sure!!! 🙂 Thank you Jesus for being so close to us!!!

When I am pondering and listening for God’s guidance, there are several things that I consider that I will talk about over the next few days, but first and foremost, I pray and study my Bible.

During our quiet time we have divine opportunity for the study of God’s Word, seeking God’s wisdom and knowledge of His will and reflecting upon how to apply it to our life. James 1:22-25 tells us “Do not merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” “Anyone who listens to the Word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at this face in a mirror and after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.” “But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it – he will be blessed in what he does.” There are many different methods to Bible study and many different Bible study guides and tools available to help us. Some thoughts to consider for quiet time:

1) Acknowledge God for who He is.

2) Confess (agree about) sins to God and ask Him to fill us fully with His Holy Spirit as we begin. Pray for God’s wisdom and insight to help us understand His Word and how to apply it to our life.

3) Remember to read God’s Word in context as many people go astray by pulling out a single verse from its true context and acting on it.

4) Consider the use of a notebook or journal to record the date, the Bible reference and what God asks us to do in response to the Scriptures. This is a great way to check back on it periodically in staying on track of what God reveals to us.

5) Make a plan of how to carry out God’s request and

6) do what God has asked of us.

The Holy Bible is God’s love letter to us. God will never ask us to do anything contrary to His written Word. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us: “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every kind of work.”

Romans 12:2 tells us it is through the renewing of our minds that we will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will.

Turning to God’s Word is the first step in determining God’s will. All things should be tested against God’s Word. This is crucial to not being misled from truth. Jesus told the Sadducees in Matthew 22:29 that their errors were because they did not know the Scriptures. The more of God’s Word we store in our minds, the more God can bring it to our mind. Knowing God’s will always starts with praying for the Holy Spirit’s revelation through His written Word.

After looking at God’s Word (the Bible) for direction, there are some additional ways we can seek to hear God’s voice, but again all these things need to be tested against God’s Word! By the way, have I mentioned the importance of God’s Word to you?  Yes, I am a firm believer in Father’s Word!!! 🙂

Running For the Prize

Awesome new day greetings, dear ones!!! As I have been sharing the last several days, we can see that a physical athlete running a race and a spiritual athlete running their road of purpose have a lot in common in some ways!!! Another example I want to share with you today is this:

A beginning athlete just getting started in running with a goal of running a long-term physical race does not wake up the first day of learning to run and say “Today, I will run a marathon!”   When I decided I would like to be a physical runner, I soon learned this truth!!! YIKES!!! My body was weak. At first my ankles began to hurt, then my knees and then my hips. It took time to make these weak areas strong and build up the stamina to run a great distance. It takes training to be a physically-fit athlete!!! Not everyone is physically capable of running and that is ok. We need to train to become godly as spiritual athletes and that is very important for everyone!!! (1 Timothy 4:7). While some type of exercise helps us all to be at our best potential physically for serving God and others, the same is true spiritually.   The Bible says “physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for the present life and the life to come” (1 Timothy 4:8). Many people are fanatics about exercising their body everyday in an effort to stay healthy physically, but they never do anything to train to be spiritually healthy. The latter is the most important!!! As new spiritual athletes, we cannot wake up today and be a mature Christian and know everything contained in God’s Word. It takes time for the Holy Spirit to teach or train us and help us to run well the spiritual race of life. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says that “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the person of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” If we want to be equipped or get in shape spiritually, we need to work out with the Holy Spirit each day by opening up our Bible and studying God’s Word and trusting the Holy Spirit to build spiritual muscle in us. HOOORRRAAAHHH!!! RUH, RUH, RUH!!! IT MAKES FOR THE BEING EQUIPPED IN THE MIND WITH JESUS MENTALITY THAT WE ALL NEED TO HAVE DIVINE VICTORY IN LIFE!!! 

So now that we understand how to be healthy and trained spiritually, we are ready to start running the road of purpose that God has for our lives as our Father’s Spirit guides us along thru His Spirit speaking to us in line with His written Word (the Bible) that He sometimes speaks to us thru others and His guidance thru circumstances!!! TO THAT ALL I SAY YYYEEESSS!!! I’M EXCITED!!! LET’S GET GOING, SAINTS!!! IT’S GOING TO BE DIVINE FUN ADVENTURE ON THE GOOO FOR THE DIVINE TRIP THRU LIFE WITH HE WHO LOVES US FOREVER AND WHO WILL ALWAYS LEAD US IN TRIUMPHANT PROCESSION ALONG THE SCENIC VICTORY ROUTE AS WE KEEP OUR EYES FIXED ON HIM!!!

I hope you have enjoyed this series of leaning about the comparisons of a physical athlete running for a prize and a spiritual athlete running the road of purpose for the prize of Father’s eternal rewards that He holds for all His people who show Him love by helping His people and continuing to help them. We are saved by grace and not by works and therefore, we all are kingdom family thru faith and have a heavenly seat in the kingdom of heaven, this we know!!! That is awesome!!!  But our sweet Father just likes to add eternal blessings to His people for what they do out of a motive for Him and oh that just blesses my heart to know that Father delights in our heart for Him as we put forth efforts in this life to bless Him!!! I am proud of YOU for doing so, too, sweet saints!!!

Let us keep moving onward in that motive of showing love to our Father of perfect love and bringing Him glory into this earth as this song says here. I love to make Jesus smile!!! It just makes me smile, too!!!

Father’s Love is Fitting

The understanding of Father’s love and promises is the comfort in all of life situations. As our Father tells us:

“Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.” NIV
“Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.” NLT
Romans 12:15

Jesus understands the hearts of all people and guides us in how to love those He puts in our lives. The best thing we can do always is to help others know of God’s love for them in whatever circumstance they are in in life as this song says here.

How can you testify of Father’s love to those in your life where you are today, family of faith??? Perhaps it is in prayer, in words or perhaps it is in actions. I am proud of you for doing so!!!

Inexpensive Medicine

Oh I’m just a smiling today family of faith because of the kind words that Jesus has spoken into my life!!! Everyday He is the medicine that my soul needs to have good spiritual health that also leads to physical, mental and emotional good health too just as His Word tells us:

“Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.”

Proverbs 16:24NASB

Oh choosing good words are worth much and cost us little. Jesus laid down His whole life for each of us and we can bless His name in loving His people around us!!! He tells us this:

“God is not unjust; He will not forget your hard work to show Him love by helping His people and continuing to help them.”

Hebrews 6:10

“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.”

Revelation 22:12

Our Father has taken great strides to make sure that we have the victory in this life and so as long as it is day (life here on earth), His heart is for us as our Father’s kids of faith is:

“…to encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

1 Thessalonians 5:11

Jesus guides us thru His Holy Spirit in how to do that and He will bless us for it!!! I’m a gal seeking to do so with you in the world for Jesus!!! I am proud of you for seeking Father’s heart for the right words to help those He has placed around you, too!!! He calls us to speak truth in love and when we take the time to seek Him and reflect on His heart for us, we can go forth as Moses did in speaking to Pharaoh to be our Father’s voice in this world knowing Father who created our mouths will help us!!! Moses did not go to Pharaoh and just flatter him – He spoke truth, but to our Father’s glory!!! Our Father loved Pharaoh and if Pharaoh would have chosen to turn to the Lord, his life would’ve lived out a whole lot different!!! He could have lived out life forever divinely healthy with God’s kingdom family, but He chose otherwise. Truth spoken to deliver a soul is always sweet when it is received with repentance and changed life!!! Speak the sweetness of truth and love wherever Father calls you to do so, dear ones!!! Moses gave Pharaoh the opportunity to respond to truth!!! Our Father’s guidance is free and the best medicine for a person’s soul that exists!!! Where do you need our Father’s voice of healing in your life and how can you help bring healing and well being to someone around you, dear one of faith???

Bless you for your willing heart to love for Jesus!!! He loves and delights in you as His forever kingdom child and He has given us His Word to sustain us and bring us victory in all of our lives!!! Let us stay focused on Him and His Word as this song says here!!! His spoken Word will never fade away; it stands forever true and victorious and gives us all we need for living life well!!!

Life is Like a Sandwich

Jesus said: “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry…”

John 6:35 NIV

Hunger for my Father’s voice today has led me to hear Him say that our lives are like a sandwich, with our birth being one piece of His divine work in our lives as the bread of life and our death (transfer from this life to eternity as children of faith) is the other piece of His divine work in our lives as the bread of life!!! What is in between those two major events in our lives is what we could say is the filling, the meat and cheese, all the divine interesting things in our lives that fill us up with what we need to grow and mature in our relationship with Jesus, and be prepared to receive fully all that He has planned for us in the future!!!

Father tells us in His Word:

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

1 Corinthians 2:9

Throughout all of history, God has revealed some of His plans to us as His children of faith and the spiritual battle that is being fought on this earth and in the heavenly realms!!! Our Father’s wisdom and understanding of all of life is way beyond us!!! Having found themselves captive by the enemy, the Israelites looked forward to the promised freedom land flowing with milk and honey that our Father was leading them to, however they did not have the insight of all the details of what would happen in life in between where they were in Eqypt in slavery by the enemy of this world Satan, to the time that promised land of deliverance to freedom would be given. It is what happened in between those two places that prepared them for what the Lord was preparing to give to them out of His love for them that would be experiences that would enable them to receive it with a right heart!!! For examples: It was during the process of traveling through the desert where the Israelites learned to have faith in God and follow his chosen leader to guide them as he sought the Lord’s heart in how to lead people. It was during that desert travel that led up to Moses growing in genuine faith in seeing our Father provide as he cried out to Him for help. It was in the desert that they saw the difference in having faith in our Father and the ineffectiveness of grumbling against Him and His chosen leader. It was in the desert they learned that God was their healer, provider and sustainer. It was in these life experiences that Moses learned that His Father had a purpose for him that was different from the purpose that He had for Joshua!!! Joshua learned that our Father believed in him and had a planned purpose for him in bringing blessing to His people if he would trust Him!!! Moses was not intended to do it all and the same is true for each one of us as our Father’s kids!!!

It was all of these experiences in between the land where the Israelites had been and the land they were being taken to that was the divine sandwich filling of the Holy Spirt’s work between the two pieces of divine work of the bread of life that enabled the people of faith to realize when they got to the promised land, just what God had done for them!!! It was then that their hunger for final surety was totally satisfied by seeing before their very eyes, the final fruition of Father’s love and grace that had been moving in their lives all along!!! With each step they took, they clung to hope and faith in Him!!! His faithfulness to them at the end was the same faithfulness that was leading them all along!!! If they would’ve been picked out of Egypt and instantly plunked into the paradise land God was giving them, their hearts would not have the genuine faith that they developed as they journeyed along, learning to trust in their Father. They would not have understood His commitment to them that was faithful to see them through all of their life challenges.  They would’ve missed out on divine experiences that taught them the true love, care and faithfulness of our God. We could say that they would’ve missed out on experiencing life, too!!! If they were given lives of total bliss without the experiences of life that pointed them to the giver, they would be so enthralled with the gift given, they probably would give no thought to the giver!!! How sad would that be for the One who loved them and wanted to be their God!!!

When you desire something in life and you have to commit to it, be willing to fight for it to keep it instead of losing it, you come to truly appreciate it when you do receive it!!! There were some of the Israelites that never got it because of their hardened hearts – therefore, they were not given the opportunity to enter the promised land. Oh to trust in our Father’s love and faithfulness to us in all of life is sooo important!!! He beckons us: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled” (Hebrews 3:15) for it is when our hearts are open to trusting and following our Lord that our heart hunger will be truly satisfied and we will realize the many eternal rewards that await us in our Father’s coming soon kingdom and that includes genuine faith as we experience the faithfulness of He who loves us with unfailing, unconditional love!!! We are forever saved by grace through our faith in Jesus’ finished work on the cross as our Savior from the wages of sin and we are forever sealed with His Holy Spirit in us of which we can never lose!!!

He gives us His best guidance through this life by His Spirit in us, His written Word the Bible, godly counsel including leaders and His sovereignty in circumstances. If we fight against our Father’s best for us through this life, even though through faith we are saved by grace, we will make life harder on ourselves than it is intended to be!!! YIKES!!! Oh, let us trust in our Father who loves us and has always good plans for us for the best life possible!!!

I have heard it said that we do not receive the grace to prepare us to die or depart from this earth into the presence of Jesus until it is that time in life for us!!! When that time happens, our last breath here on earth will be our first breath in His paradise kingdom!!! I believe that is all true and that with each step of life, our Father gives us sufficient grace to be on the step of life where we are!!! When we are ready, He will give us the grace to take the next step into life, all the while, He will be growing our genuine faith and when the day arrives when we are all taken into His eternal kingdom as His forever family, never again to experience the challenges of this life, we will have hearts that truly have great appreciation and such devotion to our Father that we will want to worship our King forever!!! We will truly realize what a gift our Father has been, is now and will forever be to us!!!

Oh how Father’s love, wisdom and faithfulness to us as His kids makes me smile!!! I’m trusting in Him with you as this song says here. Know you are loved with everlasting love by He who wants to journey through all of life with us together forever!!! None of life will be wasted in our lives as we trust in Him!!!

Going for the Finest in Life

Drawing close to our Father for the security of knowing we as His children of faith are loved with unfailing, unconditional love – seen as holy, without blemish, without accusation and with no condemnation through what Christ did on the cross to take away the sins of all people who look to His finished work to rescue them from the wages of sin is a divine honor and privilege to us!!! Through our faith in Him, He gives us reconciliation with Him as our Father, eternal life in His paradise kingdom coming soon and He fills us with His Holy Spirit within our hearts to lead us and guide us through this life on earth divinely, powerfully enabled by His supernatural abilities at work within us to will and act according to His good purpose for each of us!!! Truly we are heirs of all the glorious riches of Christ Jesus as royal kingdom kids!!! Our Father has a heart for us as His kids just like all fathers have for their kids, that they be wise with the right kind of wisdom – the wisdom of the holy written Word, the Bible!!! Our Father tells us that in that wisdom:

“If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you.”

Proverbs 9:12

Of our Father’s wisdom personified:

“Whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord.”

Proverbs 8:35 NIV

Oh truly, Father’s wisdom leads us to salvation in Christ, our forever favor of our Father’s blessings!!!  Our lives lived out with the blessings that come from His wisdom here on earth as we await His eternal kingdom coming soon are ours to realize as we learn of Him, too!!!

Here are some ways our Father’s Word tells us His wisdom rewards us here and now beyond the riches of this world as gleaned from Proverbs 8-11 :

• We gain understanding for all of life
• We know what is true, right, faultless
• We know what is just
• We know God’s counsel personally
• We gain what we need for sound judgment
• It gives power to us for victory over the enemy, the flesh and the world
• It enables kings to reign and make laws that are just
• It enables princes and nobles to govern and rule divinely
• It brings riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity
• It bears fruit beyond all that is of the world
• We gain His wisdom that is unique, not of this world, because His wisdom is what created and sustains all the earth and mankind
• It keeps us from falling prey to what is not of our Father
• It adds many days and years to our lives
• It keeps us humble and builds character in us
• It blesses our relationships with others through our speaking what is fitting and through our walking in Father’s ways
• Father’s wisdom brings peace, joy and delight to our hearts, enabling us to thrive
• Father’s wisdom brings freedom from bondage

In prayer as we pursue the reading of our Bibles in seeking Father’s wisdom is to have reverence for the heart of Jesus for us!!! Through our Father’s written Word, we learn most importantly how to have forever life through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross through our faith and we can help others know that good news, too!!! It is not in seeking His wisdom that saves us from sin, as we are saved by His grace and love through our faith in His efforts for us there on the cross!!! Our sweet Father also desires us to know His heart for how to be successful in living our everyday lives victoriously here on earth –  distinguished from the defeat of the enemy, the flesh and the world. Hence, His Word is the wisdom for us that makes the difference of all of that known to us as He says:

“The fear (reverence) of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”

Proverbs 9:10 NIV

Oh to seek the finest wisdom of our Father is truly the wisest thing we can ever do in life!!!

Today, the wise still seek Him just as they did in yesterdays!!! Life is lived out with our thoughts even before our actions!!! When our minds and our attitudes are right, saturated with Father’s divine wisdom, we position ourselves to live well with His Spirit’s guidance. Father’s all-wise heart desires to be our best friend, to give us discernment in relationships and in living life well with divine influential purpose for making a supernaturally powerful, loving difference in this world for His glory in blessing others!!! Let us share what Father reveals to us with others so that others can also know His wisdom as He provides it!!! Sooo proud of you dear family for your love for Jesus!!! I’m a gal seeking to follow as He leads so wisely with you and through you, too!!! I love this song here!!!

Stepping Forward Into Victory

New day greetings, precious saints!!! I have spent quite a bit of time this weekend reflecting before our Father and I just can’t begin to tell you what a tremendous gift we have in Jesus with us each individually!!! He is One who walked this earth Himself and has dealt with the enemy of this world, Satan, and the trauma that the evil one inflicts into a life!!! He did so forever victoriously thru His finished work for the wages of all people’s sin on the cross for all who believe in Him so that we are forever safe and seated in His heavenly kingdom with eternal life in His loving presence!!! Whoop!!! Whoop!!! Whoop!!! We have won through faith!!! Until such time that heaven is full, the harvest is ripe, our Father continues to fight the enemy at work in this world and He also does so through His Spirit that is at work in each of us as His children of faith and through us as His holy vessels!!! He is the power to defeat the enemy’s efforts!!! He has power over the enemy and that means we do also!!!

We must believe that, claim that and find our victory and peace in that!!! Our Father tells us in His Word:

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” 

Ephesians 6:12 NIV

Our Father also gives us the formula for defeating the enemy personally:

How do we resist the devil? It begins with prayer and turning from the lies of the enemy that he speaks into our minds and focusing on our Father’s truths:

“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

2 Corinthians 10:5 NIV

Ask yourself:

• What are the hurtful lies the enemy is telling you, dear one? Outloud, denounce those demons (for example, “I command you Satan with the authority of Jesus in me for you and your demons of unforgiveness to leave me.”)
• What are God’s truths for you, beloved child of the King? Pray to Jesus and tell Him you desire His power to claim and walk in His truth!!!

It is important to identify these demons of lies and Father’s truths. Believe Jesus will help you win!!! I have personally found victory in doing this!!!

Our Father also tells us in His Word that we have spiritual armor that we as children of faith are equipped with to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy:

“Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with:

• the belt of Truth buckled around your waist (God’s written Word taken as a whole and in context)
• the breastplate of righteousness in place (see yourself as God does through your faith – holy, blameless and without accusation and condemnation)
• with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace (we can move forward when there is peace)
• take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one
• take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (you are saved by faith in Christ, not by works)
• pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

YES WE CAN HAVE VICTORY OVER THE ENEMY BECAUSE JESUS LIVES IN US AND IS WORKING IN US TO WILL AND ACT ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE!!! YAY!!! LET’S GO CLAIM IT, SAINTS!!! 🙂 HAPPY DANCING IS IN STORE!!!

Because of the evil that goes unchecked within people, God’s people, like Jesus did, we face the challenges of times of trauma in life that our all wise, all powerful, all sweet loving Jesus wants to heal all people individually from!!! What is your trauma that you need healing from dear one??? Know that Jesus understands your heart:

“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are–yet He did not sin.”

Hebrews 4:15 NIV

He was able to do this because He was God and He is able to help us as His children of faith to have victory, too!!!

If you need healing or know someone whom you are helping to heal, we can all know this: Know that you will heal—healing from your past will come with God’s help!!! It is important that you engage in a process through which this will be possible, through the Holy Spirit, His written Word, through godly counsel, either in individual or group counseling and Father’s Spirit at work in circumstances to lead you and help you. Know that you will have victory—beyond just healing, you will have victory over the trauma!!! Begin to consider some of the positive strengths you will have in your life as a result of healing from this trauma. Know that you will eventually be able to forgive to set yourself free. This is the ultimate spiritual victory. You will be set free from the effects of the enemy’s trauma upon you. You also will be able to be of great comfort to others who experience similar traumas in the future through what you have learned through your experience and healing!!! Now how exciting is that dear one to be our Father’s vessel through whom He works to help others through what you have gone through yourself!!! YYYEEESSS!!! WE CAN HAVE VICTORY!!! 🙂

I want to share this prayer with you to pray in Jesus’ name over yourself, have someone else pray it over you and in the right time, perhaps Father will have you pray it over someone else. It is a good beginning for the healing power of our Father to begin to work.

You can use this prayer by simply filling in the blanks with your name or the name of the person you are praying for:

Father, make Your presence known to ______ each and every single day, as the God who is near to the brokenhearted and who saves the crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18) For indeed You are. In Your name I speak healing and restoration upon each and every wound that was inflicted upon _____’s life. Thank You for healing and binding my friend’s wounds! (Psalm 147:3) Holy Spirit, expose the lies of the enemy that have entered my friend’s life because of his/her trauma. Jesus, bring _____ to an encounter with Your Word. (1 John 4:18a) Let Your love rain down upon him/her, bringing healing to his/her mind, emotions, will and spirit, even his/her body. Overwhelm ______ with Your healing power. A Word To Go On

The reason so many people have faith in Jesus is because He is trustworthy. He is a man of His Word as we seek Him as His children of faith!!! He is creditable because of His results in making a difference in the lives of His people!!! His life backed up His Words written long ago and continues to back up His Word (the Bible) today as we seek Him!!! He who was worthy of praise and trust yesterday is the same God worthy of praise and trust today and He will be the same God worthy of praise and trust in all of our tomorrows!!! The character of God’s trustworthiness and faithfulness to His children of faith will never change!!! This is important to realize because it makes a huge difference in our faith here today!!! Jesus understood that people’s faith needed to be built on solid ground. That is why He said to a royal official in Cana in Galilee (the place where He had turned water to wine for a wedding):

“Unless you people see miraculous signs and wonders, you will never believe.”

John 4:48 NIV

This royal official had heard of the ability of Jesus to do what was the amazing and when this man heard the name JESUS and that it was He who was there, he went to Jesus and begged Him to come and heal his son, who was close to death. He said to Jesus “Sir, come down before my child dies.” Jesus replied, “You may go, your son will live.”  Given those words, “the man took Jesus at His Word and departed.”  The story then goes on to say “While he was still on the way, his servants met him with the news that his boy was living. When he inquired as to the time when his son got better, they said to him, “The fever left him yesterday at the seventh hour.” Then the father realized that this was the exact time at which Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.”  So he and all his household believed.” WOOOHOOO!!! I sooo love faith stories and I encourage you, dear saints, to share your faith stories because they are important in building faith in Jesus by reminding us of His faithfulness and also in encouraging others to keep faith. Talk to people about how you have prayed and Jesus has worked good through circumstances to answer those prayers for you!!! People need to hear faith stories and hear about trusting in Christ as their Savior from personal sin, first. They need to know His Word, how to seek Him in prayer and how to trust in what His Word says about Him and life!!!

Jesus has rescued me, healed me, empowered me and worked out circumstances of my life beyond anything I could ever ask or imagine sooo many times!!! He has been a God of His Word to me and I do have a genuine faith that He is always with me and always working good in and thru life circumstances to help me divinely and to grow my faith genuine!!! I remember many years ago when I was first a believer and I became disappointed at God because He hadn’t answered one of my prayers the way I thought He should have and I remember talking to my Pastor about it. I will always remember what He said to me. He said what if this is a test of your faith to see if you will believe in Jesus even if you don’t see your prayer answered exactly as you wanted it to be??? Perhaps He has something better in store for you in a way you cannot see yet. Can you trust Him anyway??? That was a turning point in my life when I said to Jesus, the One triune God the Father, Savior and Holy Spirit who created me and all things, – “I trust in you that you know what is the very best for my life and I trust in you to put into it and take from it whatever you see is divine.” Jesus has never ceased to amaze me in how He works good through all things in my life, shows me how much He loves me with unfailing, unconditional love and as a result of Him being of His Word, I know that He holds forever victory for all of us kids of faith as He says:

“…in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Have you placed your trust in Christ Jesus as your personal Savior from your personal sin through His finished work on the cross where He, God Himself, was crucified to take upon Himself the penalty for your sins??? He died in your place and on the third day was raised back up to forever life by the power of God and is now seated in heaven at the right side of God, the Father and the Holy Spirit who prays for our divine victory!!! If you have not claimed His victory for you from eternal separation from Him through faith, here is how you do so:

• Just talk to Him like a friend and tell Him that you look to Him to save you from the wages of personal sin that has separated you from Him as the One true God and that you look to Him to give you eternal life in His paradise kingdom coming soon.
• Tell Him you also look to Him to indwell your heart with His Holy Spirit to lead you and guide you through this life divinely, supernaturally and victoriously!!!

If you have done the above, is there something that you need His help with in life??? Pray to Him and ask Him to help you with it and He will. What does His Spirit in you tell you as you pray and look into His written Word (the Bible taken as a whole book in context)??? What does He speak to you through the godly counsel of others and life circumstances – doors opening and closing??? Ponder these things and go back to Jesus for the final answer in if there is something you need to do or if it is something you just need to trust Him to do. Act on what He is telling you to do in faith that as He calls you to it, He will see you through it!!!

• What would taking Jesus at His Word to you look like in your going into life???
• Will you trust Him that it is so and step out in faith in Him in the way He is showing you to???

Oh how faith in Him who is all wise, all love, all powerful and all for your best makes a victorious difference in our lives!!! Let’s go into life in faith in Him working good for us, dear family and tell others how they can have faith in He who loves them, too!!! YOU and JESUS together are the world difference maker team wherever you are with Him with you helping you every second!!!

It is also powerful to my own heart of faith to know that the second we ask for Jesus’ help, He acts on our request and oh how He has shown that to me before several times – even when I have found myself in situations that all I could do in the fast-happening circumstances is call out His name JESUS!!! There is power in His name as this song says here. He is always with us as children of faith – “never will He leave us nor forsake us” as His Word says. Know His Word – Bless Him for it as it is powerful and useful in sooo many ways to bring the divine wisdom into our lives He wants us to have!!! Hang on to faith in He who is forever faithful, all the time good and not capable of doing evil ever!!! I praise Him and trust in Him with you!!! His forever love for forever life with Him together with you wherever you are – powering on in faith in Him with you!!!

The Meaningful Life of Joy

King Solomon was a very interesting Biblical character. He is said to have dreamed of asking God for wisdom to guide God’s people and our Father’s Spirit did in deed give him great wisdom, to the point that he was said to be the wisest, richest and most powerful man in the world and he was sought out by people all over the world for his wisdom. King Solomon learned a lot from experience and part of that experience that taught him much was going through a time in his life where he turned his eyes to the world and all that it could offer to him as a means of providing him fulfillment in life. The result was that he proclaimed everything in the world as worthless!!!

King Solomon’s name means “peace,” but he enjoyed none of it while he wrote his book about all that was “under the sun.” During the process, he grew deflated, depressed and disillusioned about life based on living for this world. He lost the wind in his sail would be one way to say it or you could also say it that he lost all of his joy as he contemplated life “under the sun” without God. YIKES and how sad would that be?!! Oh, let’s not go there!!!

Because King Solomon gave up his true mission in life for a time to study the world without God, he teaches us these things thru his experience:

• There is no profit. Life without God is an exercise in futility. Generations come and go and all we do is move stuff around. “What profit has a man from all his labor in which he toils under the sun? One generation passes away, and another generation comes; but the earth abides forever.” Ecclesiastes 1:3-4
• There is no purpose. The sun rises only to set again, endlessly repeating a meaningless cycle. Wind blows, river flows, all in monotony. “The wind goes towards the south, and turns around to the north; the wind whirls about continually, and comes again on its circuit. All the rivers run into the sea. Yet the sea is not full; to the place from which the rivers come, there they return again.” Ecclesiastes 1:5-7
• There is no progress. There is no satisfaction; there’s nothing new under the sun, nor pleasant remembrance of earlier life. “All things are full of labor; Man cannot express it. The eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing. That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun. Is there anything of which it may be said, “See, this is new”? It has already been in ancient times before us. There is no remembrance of former things, nor will there be any remembrance of things that are to come by those who will come after.” Ecclesiastes 1:8-11

When a person seeks to live in life without an eternal divine perspective, they fall into the trap of meaninglessness life mindset. Having significant, meaningful goals are important. With King Solomon’s experience and conclusion of life “under the sun” without God, it is learned that:

• If nothing worthwhile exists under the sun, our only hope must lie above it.
• If the person with everything investigated every visible delight and still wound up unsatisfied, then what satisfies must be invisible.
• If the wisest man on earth finds no answers under heaven, then we must look to heaven itself for those answers.

Our Father tells us in His Word, His written love letter to us so that we understand there is meaning to our lives here and a divine eternal purpose as His royal children of God:

“For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” 

Jeremiah 29:11

He also tells us we find those plans in this way:

“Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord…”

Jeremiah 29:12-14

As we pray, look to what our Father tells us in His written Word, the Bible, of which King Solomon’s added experienced wisdom lends to, we learn and understand what life here on earth is all about, what our Father’s heart is for us and the correct perspective of things of this life. We learn that we are loved and cared for and part of heavenly support system that is actually leading to a forever grand plan of bliss for us and that the things we do here on earth make a difference here and there!!! It is in the knowledge of this and personally experiencing the reaffirmation of God’s Holy Spirit manifesting to us each that our faith is made genuine!!! Personally experiencing our Father’s reassurance that we are His beloved child, heirs into His glorious kingdom of riches with Christ and seeing the power of His Spirit working in our personal lives, it gives life true meaning, joy and delight in loving our King of Glory back for His love that first loved us and made forever life with Him all possible through Jesus!!! I am sooo thankful our sweet Father has a meaningful life and plan for us as His kids!!! WOOOHOOO!!! I’m a gal going with His love, grace, joy, peace and power in life and I delight with my Father who loves me forever and you too as His child of faith in Christ Jesus!!! Now how awesome and meaningful is all of that to a heart!!! Our Father spoke to King Solomon and told him that “what a person desires is unfailing love.”  (Proverbs 19:22)  I am glad King Solomon finally realized the value of our Father and that all of life is meaningful with Him!!! He concluded:

“Fear (reverence) God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.”

Ecclesiastes 12:13

As we study the Bible as a whole and in context, we understand that we are all created and saved for God’s eternal Kingdom by His love and grace through the story of Christ’s finished work on the cross and not by our own works or duty, but our Father has given us His Word or commandments to guide us in life and help us understand the meaning of our lives here and what is the best for us to know in life to have a good life and His abundant joy!!! We learn He has a divine purpose for each of our lives and we are each one created special and equipped to carry out that purpose here on earth!!! I am sooo thankful to have Jesus in my life!!! Is there a place in your life that is lacking abundant joy, dear one??? Ask our Father and He can and will show His kids what they need to see to have fullness of joy in Him!!! Now how sweet is He to want that for us!!!
