The Surprise

The videos you share are sooo helpful in dealing with fears for the people that follow you, Sam Samy!!!👍

Poor critters!!! They do get scared of loud things they do not understand, even though they are in reality safe. Veterans can get jumpy, too and the sound can bring flashbacks of war. Many things in life that surprise us, are in our life without understanding and can create sparks of fear and anxiety that is false or without legitimate reason. In all things, we can trust in Jesus Who has not given us a spirit of fear but one of love, power and sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 I like this song about finding peace in Jesus:

Jesus has our forever victory already won through our faith in Him as our Savior and the surprise He gave the devil on the cross!!! Hooorrraaahhh!!! I sooo love the video selection you have, Sam Samy as here:

As You Think…

Oh Sam Samy, it is sooo true as Father says in His Word, that what every person desires is unfailing love!!! Because of fear and lack of faith and confidence, most people would not have the bravery to reach out in faith to love someone with a gun pointed at them as seen here!!! I see that same kind of bravery and confidence, faith and love in you!!! This man loved enough not to let the gunman destroy his own life by letting him wipe out a life. Therefore, he got creative and stepped out in faith!!! I greatly admire that!!! Powerful video here!!! Thank you sooo much for sharing it!!!

As a person thinks in their mind so they are because they don’t always believe divine truth!!! What we believe in in life we act on. Apparently this man needed to be convinced he was loved!!! When someone knows the true love of Jesus, it carries them into life in a whole new mindset as this song says here:

https://g.co/kgs/UrQ23G

Going in love, faith, Godfidence and happy in life because of God with you making my day with divine love!!!

Jesus…He’s Sooo Smart!!!

This is powerful and life changing strategy that can make a heavenly difference on earth as Sam Samy shares here!!!

How can you apply it to your life??? Pondering it as well with Jesus as my guide!!! 😊 I’m happy and smiling…going for divine best life, too!!! Hooorrraaahhh!!!

I like this song here about shaking with divine change:

Lured by Light

Good pondering here in this video, Sam Samy!!!

Thank you for sharing this!!! It speaks to me and I will share it with my lady friends who journey my road of purpose with me to always be careful about what we let lure us because the devil disguises himself as an angel of light!!! Our defense is to stay close to Jesus and pray, pray, pray always!!! I like this song here about protection found in Jesus

Having a Grace Lift

Oh there is nothing more delightful in life as we journey along on this earth than having heaven reach down and give us a grace lift when earthly life has us knocked down by our enemy Satan. Do I hear an amen from you, precious saint???

One thing is sure in this life is that the enemy is always on the prowl to discourage God’s people however he can and what our Father wants us to know is we need not go there because our loving all powerful Father is always right wherever we are to uphold us with His righteous right hand of perfect unfailing, unconditional love!!! Not only does He keep us from laying down on the ground of defeat, but as He is lifting us up, He is reminding us that there is no such thing as failure – no condemnation for those of us in Christ Jesus, only grace to reveal to us divine life so that when we get our feet under us, we can continue on with Father’s supporting grace as sufficient to help us glean from our evaluated experiences and move forward the wiser with Father’s truth for us!!! Oh we are always learning that is for sure, so let us not ever let the enemy convince us that we are any different than anyone else who is learning about life on the go of experiencing it for the first and only lifetime!!! We have our Father’s Word (the Holy Bible) and we have learning from experience!!! How exciting to always be learning!!!

Hence as Father tells us, we can count it all joy as solid gold the experiences in life that the enemy seeks to use to destroy us, but our Father works through to enlighten us and empower us to keep a going in life!!! Oh this is amazing grace and our Father’s sweet love and amazing grace is truly something to joyfully sing about as we step through this life with Father always with us!!! Father has me smiling in His grace lift for me this new day and I’m a gal stepping into life with His reassurance that with Him, life is gonna be alright and that nothing can snatch us as His people from His hand of grace that He has forever upon all of us who believe in Christ and His forever defeat of the enemy on the cross!!!

The trials of the enemy just make us stronger as we keep our hearts fixed on the love and grace of Jesus for us!!! Let us always remember the secret of life contentment and power available to us over the evil one that the Apostle Paul came to understand from Jesus’ love and words for him:

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

2 Corinthians 12:9

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the ruler, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

Ephesians 6:12

“Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”

Ephesians 6:13

How do we stand against the enemy??? Just as the saints of yesterday did:

“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”

Revelation 12:11

holy-spirit-today

The saints of yesterday were sure of their future and their victory in Christ so therefore, they didn’t shrink back to the enemy bluffs, nor should we!!! They prayed, rebuked the Devil and claimed God’s authority over him!!! WOOOHOOO!!! I’m a gal standing sure and holy and blameless, without accusation and with no condemnation in Christ Jesus with ya’s in heavenly authority, precious saints!!! We are more than conquerors in Father’s amazing grace as our sufficiency to stand against enemy efforts to keep us down in defeat when he raises up his worthless efforts!!!

god-has-not-given-us-a-spirit-of-fear

Father’s unfailing sufficient grace, love, strength and power is ours as this song says here. Father laid down His life so ours can always be picked up!!! Now how awesome that we can always stand divine in Jesus, hanging onto His righteous right hand!!!

child-of-the-king

Ya know what they say “Ya can’t keep a good man (or woman) down” and in Christ Jesus, that is oh sooo true!!! I’m a gal standing all right in Jesus’ robe of righteousness with ya, dear saints of royalty!!! HOOORRRAAAHHH!!! VICTORIOUS KINGDOM FAMILY WE FOREVER ARE!!! WEAR YOUR CROWN WELL TODAY AND LET’S NEVER LET SATAN TALK US INTO LAYING IT DOWN IN DEFEAT!!! PROUD OF YOU FOR KEEPING STANDING IN CHRIST JESUS VICTORY!!!

Made the Grade

Blessed (happy) day to you, precious family!!! I smile in the peace of Father’s love for me today that rises me up above all cares of life!!! Oh when our Father smiles upon us, you just feel like you are on top of the world and we are!!! Our Father tells us this:

“No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loves us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow–not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below–indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 8:37-39 NLT

As I reflect upon my own past memories of being a school girl, I recall the pressure or anxiety I used to feel when I was about to receive my report card at the end of the year that told me if I had passed for the year and would be given the opportunity to enter the next grade and not have to remain where I was. It was always such a relief to know that I had qualified or was accepted into the next class. It gave me peace and relief. Today, my Father gives me that same kind of peace for which I am thankful to Him for when He tells us that through our faith in Christ that we are “qualified” or fitted for sharing in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. We have been transferred from the kingdom of darkness. We have made the highest grade!!! To that I say “Wooohooo!!!” That feels so good!!! My Father tells me that He desires that we all have that good feeling and peace and that is why He gave the Apostle Paul and now each of us the request to open the eyes of others, to school them and turn them from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus. We have been sanctified, meaning we have been passed on from the kingdom of darkness, have been freed from sin and death and are now set apart as a holy saint destined to inherit all of the riches of the Kingdom of Christ. Now that thought just makes my day!!! Isn’t it a great feeling to know we are qualified by the best?!! Celebrating with ya with His peace of mind as I step out into the day!!!

Individual Purpose

Purposeful day it is for everybody, ya’ll here!!! No matter who we are in life, we each have a  divine reason for being and whether we volunteer our time or are employed by someone or we are an employer of others, we each can in someway bring contribution to what our Father is wanting to accomplish here in bringing heaven on earth!!! Now how awesome is that for everyone to be included in the purpose of life together with Jesus!!! Oh it just makes me smile!!!

As I continue in sharing about the different generalized areas of ministry that each of us individually will typically step in and out of in the course of our lives, I want to share these thoughts today about being an employee and an employer. Our Father will speak to each of us as we have need to hear His voice. Even if we volunteer in life for someone or for our Father in heaven, some of these same principles can apply to all of us:

“If you are a hired employee, God desires for you to “obey your earthly masters (in righteousness) and do it not only when their eye is on you and to win their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving” (Colossians 3:22-24). God sees it all (Proverbs 15:3) – He sees faithfulness and hard work that can sometimes go unnoticed by employers and He says He will reward you for that, so you can rest in that if that is your case. He sees the way we treat our coworkers with love and kindness, praying for them and our employers, seeking their good and success. He also sees the ways someone may mistreat their employer such as using an employer’s time for personal matters and wasting an employer’s resources. For example: When your employer sends you to make purchases, do you use your employer’s money to buy you the more expensive when lesser would do and you would buy lesser if it was your own money? Do you steal from your employer? Are you lazy and fail to carry out his or her instructions for your work. God forgives, but it is good to confess (agree about) sin to Him (1 John 1 8-10), and He desires us to repent and make restitution (Exodus 22:3b) if we need to. From that day forward, we can seek to do our work to God’s glory (1 Corinthians 10:31) and work as we would want someone to work for us if we were an employer (Matthew 22:39). Let us be thankful (Colossians 3:15) for God’s provision of someone to hire us and provide for us financially. We can ask God to help us be a good employee. Here is a photo of some employees and employers working together doing some work on a home I recently purchased. Here they are working on steps, a walkway and a gate. I greatly appreciate their efforts for me in life as I could not do all this work without their help and expertise with the other things that I do as a self-employed person and a volunteer as our Father has called me to be in life!!!

steps

Where are you in life??? An employee, an employer, self-employed, a volunteer??? This you can know of our Father:

“God is not unjust; He will not forget your hard work and the love that you show Him as you help His people and continue to help them.”

Hebrews 6:10

If you are an employer, here are some thoughts from God’s Word to ponder in doing your work for our Father. God asks employers in Colossians 4:1 to provide your employees with what is right and fair, because you know you have a Master in heaven (the Lord). The Lord sees everything (Proverbs 15:3). Even if your employees don’t seem to appreciate what you do for them, God sees it and He appreciates it. He will reward you for it. Be considerate of your employees. Do you value each of your employees? Are you friendly to them and treat them respectfully? Do you show favoritism? Are you more concerned with using available resources to make yourself comfortable and promote your image while employees go without the tools and training they need to do their jobs more efficiently and successfully. Do you pray for your employees? Do you ask your employees to do things that are ungodly? Do you cheat your employees out of pay and benefits?   If you haven’t been a good employer, it is not too late to change. Confess your sin (1 John 1:8-10), repent and make restitution (Exodus 22:3b) if you need. We need to treat our employees the way that we would want to be treated if we were someone’s employee, as in fact we are (the Lord’s). Oh let us be thankful for the help God has given to us in the employees who work hard to make us successful. We can ask God to make us a good employer if we are called to that purpose, for “God works in us to will and act according to His purpose.” (Philippians 2:13)

Let Your Life Be A Reflection

Wherever and whoever we are, we can each make a heavenly divine difference in raising up glory to our Father as this song says here and to that I say “WOOOHOOO, LET THE GLORY OF JESUS RISE WITH ALL OUR HEARTS INTO IT!!!” FATHER WILL BLESS YOU FOR YOUR EFFORTS, DEAR ONES!!! WE REAP WHAT WE SOW INTO LIFE!!! PROUD OF YOU FOR ALL YOU DO FOR JESUS AND TO BLESS OTHERS!!! MAY FATHER RAISE UP PEOPLE WHO ARE WILLING TO HELP YOU AS YOU HAVE NEED OF HELP IN YOUR PURPOSE IN LIFE AS HE HAS ME, TOO!!! BLESSED AND HAPPY IN LIFE WITH YA’S AND KEEPING GOING FOR JESUS!!!

Balancing Change in Life

Awesome new day greetings, precious saints!!! Yesterday, I wrote about how Father paces our lives just right as we look to Him and in recap, I wrote:

“As spiritual athletes or runners of the “cross” road, we may be asked to speed up temporarily or slow down at times in order to get us through certain places. God knows in His wisdom that an appropriate pace is important for long-term running!!!”

run-for-the-prize

Here in Idaho, it is a new season of year with all of its beautiful color all around!!!

fall-road

In reflecting upon that, as people, we have different seasons in life as well. For example: God may adjust our pace of running with the different seasons of our life, too. But even in the winter years of retirement age, running does not have to stop. Many people find that no longer having an employer opens new opportunities to travel for the Lord and participate in missions around the world, while others find their new availability provides great opportunity to help their grown children and impact their grandchildren for the Lord. Some give more time to their church, spend more time praying or lend a hand to the community, maybe getting involved in politics to make a difference for Christ. A successful Hollywood movie star decided at age 69 to take a big step politically and ended up doing his greatest work in life – being one of America’s greatest Presidents for two terms. His name was Ronald Reagan, a man of great Christian faith. Remember him and other older saints and let us always reflect upon the possibility that our greatest work may still be ahead of us and even now. Advanced age doesn’t mean the bearing of fruit is done.

God has a purpose for His people as long as they have life on earth and that includes you and me, too, dear ones!!! I WANT TO ENCOURAGE YOU today, that YOU are always important!!! Oh let us never think of our lives as being without purpose to our Father even if life changes in where we are, when we are there or what we are called to do!!! WOOOHOOO!!! LIFE IS ALWAYS A DIVINE ADVENTURE WITH JESUS!!! JESUS JUST MAKES US SMILE!!!

I Am WIth You Always

Running the road of God’s purpose, we as spiritual athletes need to be balanced properly, upright and in rhythm with God’s leading. A physical runner watches the road before him carefully, not wanting to fall. He or she places one foot down and then the other, moving forward on the path ahead. Likewise, the spiritual athlete moves ahead through the day as he or she listens to God’s leading, stepping into one area of ministry then another. The spiritual athlete seeks to run upright and in good form to bring glory to God in every step.

Sometimes we step a little farther to the right or left into a specific area of ministry as the road before us necessitates, but all the time, we strive to remain on the road of God’s purpose. An example would be spending more time than we normally would to sit with an ill family member or devote more ministry time to the church one week a year to help with the weeklong vacation bible school. Perhaps it is getting away from all other areas of ministry for a weekend with your spouse to spend some time resting and ministering to each other or God may call you aside for an extended time of prayer, fasting, study and reflection.

Jesus Reaching Out To US

In addition to the common purposes we share with other runners (believers) of the “cross” road, I am going to be sharing over the next few days a list of generalized areas of ministry that each of us individually will typically step in and out of in the course of our life.   Not all runners will experience all areas and I have not listed them in any order of priority because I believe God changes our priorities from day to day. God is the exception to listing an order of priority – God says in Exodus 20:3 “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Taking the time to develop a relationship with God, worshiping, praying, studying His Word and listening to God is “Job #1 for the spiritual athlete.”  He is  worthy of all praise and the sacrifice of all our lives as long as we have breath!!! HOOORRRAAAHHH!!! TO THAT I SAY AS THIS SONG SAYS HERE “YYYEEESSS LORD, WORK THRU US EACH ONE TO BUILD YOUR KINGDOM HERE ON EARTH!!! OH HOW WE WANT TO SEE YOU HIGH AND LIFTED UP AS THIS SONG SAYS HERE!!!

Experience Reveals Sweet Life

Everyday there is something new to learn in life!!! It seems that is life – people grow, grass grows, weeds grow, animals grow, technology, science and know how grows and on and on and on and  more and more as time goes on.

Seed Growing

Experience is a good teacher for helping us learn, provided we evaluate it.. Each day is jammed packed with experiences from which we gain understanding and knowledge. Some experiences are shared by others and some are unique only to us personally. Some people may attend schools to learn or gain knowledge while others may learn through evaluated experience.

Back to the Future

Sometimes people can have the attitude that the experiences they have had in life that were bad as a result of personal sin was something that needed to always keep hidden away in a closet of secret. However, I have learned a lot from my experiences in life and God has often moved my heart to share these experiences at times in order to warn, encourage, help or strengthen others. It is important though to listen to the Lord in terms of proper timing for sharing because there could be times where sharing could have the opposite effect. Sharing too much with your children could be one example. Your sharing could detour a child from sin, but it could also justify sin in their mind as they may think “Well, if mom or dad did it, he or she would understand if I did it!” YIKES!!! This could be especially true if you shared your sin with a smile or a light-hearted attitude that implies that it was cool or fun at the time. Our Father tells us to hate sin, therefore to explain the down side of it is good if you are led to share it!!!

Jesus, in Luke 22:31, told Peter (Simon) that Satan wanted to sift him as wheat, but that He was praying for him that his faith would not fail. This was right before Peter was to publicly deny Christ three times out of fear of persecution. Jesus then told Peter (Simon) “after you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.” In other words He was saying, “after you have gone through your experience, use it to strengthen others.”

Two Hands and Heart

Our own experiences can definitely be a resource to us to grow our faith and to help us minister to other people as they encounter experiences that we have already gone through ourselves. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 says:

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”

Build One Another Up

I have found experiences greatly confirm to me the truth of what God tells us in His word as truth and experiences make the lasting impressions upon my heart that stick with me and surface when I see other people struggling with the things that I have already been through. With these experiences, I can understand or relate better to people and can warn, help or encourage others with proven validity because I have gone through it. The same can be true for you!!! God can certainly burden our hearts to minister to people by sharing our personal experiences with them. Some people dedicate their whole lives to sharing from their past experience in order to make a difference for Christ.

holy-spirit-in-you

As it relates to our seeking to understand our areas of giftedness, experience at trying different things is very valuable as a teacher of what we are good at. When we think back over times in our past and observe the different activities that we have really enjoyed and activities in which we feel we have done well, it reveals to us our “sweet spot.” Our “sweet spot” or giftedness is so natural and so instinctive that when we are using it, it happens very easily and you can find yourself carrying it out without much thought!!!

Going through the small group study exercise entitled “Cure for the Common Life” provided by Max Lucado with People Management International helps to identify our area of giftedness that is sweet to us. In this book, Max explains a “sweet spot,” as being the place on a golf club (or baseball bat or tennis racket) where you get the most power and control out of your swing. People have sweet spots, too.  It’s about using our God-given strengths to achieve an outcome we are divinely motivated to pursue. Giftedness is not about satisfaction – it’s about motivation stirred up by the Holy Spirit at work in us as this song says here.

Flying Heart

Satisfaction is an end result of doing what we are motivated and able to do. I encourage you to work through the process in the workbook and/or ask Jesus to help you to discover your “sweet spot.” When you find it, you will want to run there.  What is your area of giftedness that when working there, it is sweet to your soul??? Oh it is my heart that you will enjoy the divine adventures of life with Jesus right where it is meant for you to be and doing what you are divinely gifted to do!!! It’s the divine best life for you!!! Me, too!!!

YOU Are YOU

Hi, there YOU from ME!!! 🙂 Oh isn’t it sooo interesting how we are each sooo personally unique and different?!! It just makes life interesting and fun that we are each one different!!! Have you ever p0ndered that??? How we are unique and different makes a difference in finding our best niche in life. For example:

Nobody has your exact personality. You are definitely YOU and despite what anyone might tell you, YOU and I do have a personality! We all have our own personality strengths and weaknesses. Personality is defined as the distinction of personal and social traits. There are many types of personalities. God gave the world variety, which is a good thing. Can you imagine what it would be like if we were all the same personality.

baby-in-mirror

smiling-baby

funny-girl

What would life be like if we were all “quiet as a mouse?” or what if we were all “monotone, non-stop talkers?” It would be hard to find a listening ear! God is so wise! The type of personality that we have can make a difference in how we minister to people. For example, a quiet and reserved person would choose a different approach to evangelism compared to a very hyper, talkative person. A quiet and reserved person would probably not excel as a street-corner sales person and a hyper, talkative person would probably not be your best candidate for a deer-hunting guide.  Our personalities suit us for the way God wants to use us in the world and God wants to use all of us! If you are not sure how our Father wants to work thru you, you can talk to a ministry leader to see where your personality would best fit in the area of your interest within a particular ministry (example: working with children).

It is interesting that for people seeking to find a place to fit in, that they may want to consider taking the personality test available on the Internet through the Church Growth Institute that provides personalized results that can be printed instantly. This test is offered after you finish the Spiritual Gifts Analysis website that I mentioned in my previous blog about “Spiritual Gifts.”

If access to the Internet is not available,  a booklet test can be ordered for a small fee from the Church Growth Institute by calling 1-800-553-GROW (4769).

Another test that the Church Growth Institute offers is a Leadership/Management Inventory that helps a person to understand their leadership/management style. It can be found through the same website.

Once a person has taken the Spiritual Gifts Analysis, Personality Inventory, and Leadership/Management Style evaluations, a “Personal Ministry Finder” can be generated for a small fee that is personalized for you as an individual. It provides suggestions for ministry areas you may want to consider given the unique gift of you! It is automatically offered through the website you utilize for the Spiritual Gifts Analysis. A Summary of Results personalized for you can then be generated if you so desire. Again, these are things to consider in addition to trying other things and asking God to reveal your uniqueness through evaluated experience.

Oh it is just sooo interesting pondering the uniqueness of YOU, precious one!!! Father has a special place for each one of us in this world where the real YOU and ME can shine thru in divine ways!!! That thought all just makes me smile!!! 🙂 This is true of each one of us – our Father made us to celebrate life with Him as this song says here, so celebrate life just as Father has created YOU to do in your own special way to shine heaven on earth thru YOU!!! I’m a gal seeking to do so with ya’s!!! 🙂
